Along with Paul ‘Duxy’ Duxfield we’ll be running this underwater photography event at Red Sea Diving Safari’s Marsa Shagra resort.
This is the ultimate workshop for those looking for a flexible and independent way to improve their underwater photography skills in the Red Sea, with three underwater photographers on hand to guide you.
For a 12 days the three of us will be on site in Marsa Shagra giving a series of workshops aimed at all levels of underwater photographer.
No matter what experience you have, you will benefit from our collective knowledge base as well as the ability to dive unlimited at the Marsa Shagra house reef to put what you learn into action. Revisit the same spots to perfect your images if you wish, and take advantage of the variety of macro and wide angle opportunities that are available on the doorstep.
During the event there will be a series of four presentations on rotation, delivered at 4.30pm each day:
Lighting Underwater Images
Understanding Marine Life for Underwater Photographers
Photo Editing and Workflow
Each workshop participant will also have a dedicated one-to-one session of at least one hour with one of the team to look at their images and the team will be on hand for impromptu advice and teaching.
The rotational talks are specifically designed so that guests arriving on any day can participate in the full 4 days of the workshop.
Guests are required to have their own photographic equipment (all levels of camera are welcome!) and their own laptop/device for editing (if they want to do this during their stay).
The workshop fee of £100 for UK residents or €150 for non-UK guests includes participation in the four presentations listed above (in any order), one hour one-to-one editing tuition and access to the team for advice and teaching throughout your stay in the resort. Workshop fee does not including diving, accomodation or flights these should be booked through Oonasdivers in the UK or contact Red Sea Diving Safari for details of your local agent.
