Intro talk/FB Live Test, explaining some of what Alphamarine do as a company

The first Facebook Live video I did was just an explanation of my plans for further talks and an introduction to what Alphamarine Photography do as a company. This was done five weeks ago but I thought I’d include on the blog for those people who aren’t familair with us. I’ve already done blogs around quite a few of the talks that I’ve done since this one and I’m aiming to get caught up and have a blog for every talk soon.

Below the embedded video I’ll put some relevant links and extra info.

As mentioned in the video I’m using a Logitech Blue Yeti microphone. It is quite large and heavy but sound quality seems good, it has a range of modes for different purposes and it uses a USB connection straight to my computer. Currently there seems to be shortage of these but I’ve included a link to the relevant Amazon page for when supplies improve. I’m guessing demand is quite high for them with so many people working from home or trying their hand at vlogging etc.

For more information about how we run our retail side and the range of brands we sell can be found on our Equipment Page. If you’d like to order something or get a quote email us at info@alphamarinephoto.com

We will be running Red Sea Photo Camp 2021 in June and more about the Marsa Shagra resort where we run it is available on the Red Sea Diving Safari website.

More information about the workshops we run near Manchester are on our main events page. Dates may change from what are currently listed depending on venue availability and how lockdown restrictions are eased. You can also find more about the workshops and talks we do on our training page or email us at the same email as for equipment enquiries.

We are members of a number of affiliate programmes including Amazon and Wex Photo/Video. This means that if you click through a link on the website to one of these companies and make a purchase we get a small share of the slae which helps to fund the running of the blog, Facebook Live videos and our Facebook Q and A group. Below this post are banners for the two camera companies we are affiliated to.

I’m now doing Facebook Live videos on our Alphamarine Photography page on most Thursdays at 8pm BST. Subjects are varied and all are welcome to watch and comment. If you’d like to support the blogs and videos I produce you can ‘buy me a coffee’.
