Photo Editing Workshop

  • The Welcome Inn Bury Old Road Manchester, England, M45 6TA United Kingdom (map)

In digital photography taking the pictures is only half the task. Organising and editing your photos is just as important and we'll help you make it easier and more productive. We are holding another of our very popular two day, Photo Editing Workshops in Manchester.

Day one is about getting started with Adobe Lightroom Classic. It covers among other things setting up preferences, importing images, keywording, rating, using smart collections, colour correction, cropping, exposure adjustment and exporting your finished pictures.
Day two is more advanced and includes using brushes and filters and creating HDR and Panoramic images in Lightroom. Then we move on to using Photoshop in conjunction with Lightroom to remove backscatter and large objects, make use of content aware features and carry out sharpening.

Each day can be booked individually for £100. If you decide you would like to join us for both days please note the cost is reduced to £175. There is limited avaliability for this course. A £30 per day non-refundable deposit is required when booking with balance to be paid no later than a week before the event. Balance is non-refundable if you cancel within a week of the event.
Each day runs from 9.30am to 5.00pm Lunch and hot drinks are included in the price. Please let us know any dietary requirements when booking.
Attendees will need a laptop with at least a trial version of Adobe Lightroom Classic and Adobe Photoshop CC installed.

Free parking is plentiful at the venue and it is close to a Metrolink station and bus route. Overnight accommodation is available at a number of hotels in the area.
