By using the Alphamarine Photography Ltd website you are acknowledging your acceptance of these terms and conditions :

  • You use the alphamarinephoto.com website at your own risk.

  • Alphamarine Photography does not assume any liability arising from your use of this website.

  • While we always strive to provide you with accurate information, we will not assume any responsibility for errors or omissions on our website, or for any failure to update them.

  • We reserve the right to change or eliminate any part of our website without notice.

  • Intellectual property shown on products and promotional materials is owned by the respective brand owners.

  • Logos and trade names on the alphamarinephoto.com website are owned by the respective brand owners.

  • Intellectual Property associated with the graphics, text, design, look and feel of the website is owned by Alphamarine Photography.

  • Any feedback and ideas submitted by users become Alphamarine Photography's property.

  • The alphamarinephoto.com website is subject to UK law.

  • Any existing links to third parties are not to be deemed as an endorsement by Alphamarine Photography, and Alphamarine Photography assumes no responsibility for the content or use of these third party websites.

Equipment Sales

Purchases of equipment from us are covered by the UK online and distance selling regulations unless collection is made in person (in which circumstances normal UK sales rules apply).

For distance sold items you have 14 days after receiving an item to cancel the order, a reason does not need to be given. If you do cancel an order you then have another 14 days to return the item. Items must be undamaged and complete as purchased. A refund (minus the cost of shipping) will be issued after we have received the item.

For items collected in person returns will only be accepted if faulty (see Warranty below)

Warranty

All items sold by Alphamarine Photography Ltd. are warranted against any material and manufacturing defects for one year from the date of purchase for consumer use.

Any claims must be accompanied by a proof of purchase.
Alphamarine Photography Ltd. accepts no liability for any damage to and defects in any supplied products caused by improper use and/or poor maintenance. It is equally the responsibility of the owner to carefully follow all instruction provided in product manuals.
Alphamarine Photography Ltd. do not hold responsibility for damage, of any nature, to any equipment used with and/or placed within any supplied products.
Alphamarine Photography Ltd. accept no liability for any loss of captured images or the inability to capture images even if it is due to the malfunctioning or leakage of supplied products.
Unauthorised modifications and/or repairs to any supplied products will automatically invalidate warranty.
 Return shipping fees are the responsibility of the customer.
We strongly advise that you take adequate insurance out for your products as our warranties will not confer cover for any consequential damage to items contained within. We also recommend that you always initially test a new camera housing without the camera in it.

UK Workshops and Courses

  • All bookings must be paid for in advance and are non-refundable unless otherwise stated

  • Alphamarine Photography Ltd will not be held responsible for the following;

    Personal accident or injury

    Loss/damage to personal equipment

    Loss of personal earnings

  • Tea / Coffee and biscuits are provided throughout the day on our Manchester workshops. Any food allergies or intolerances need to be stated in advance for your safety.

  • In the event that the date of the course is changed or the course is cancelled due to an event outside our control you will be informed as soon as possible (and we will use all reasonable endeavours to give you at least 24 hours' notice) prior to the scheduled commencement date for the Course and you will be entitled to either:

    (i) a full refund of the fees paid to us

    (ii) attend the Course on the alternative date suggested by us except in extreme cases where it is no longer possible to provide the Course.

  • Cancelling/altering your booking is only possible with at least 7 days notice. After this period refunds will not be given for cancellations. Email info@alphamarinephoto.com to make a cancellation

  • A deposit of £30 per day per person will be collected when a workshop booking is made. This is non-refundable

  • The balance of cost must be paid at least 7 days prior to the workshop unless arranged otherwise

  • We reserve the right to refuse to teach any attendee for any behaviour that is deemed disruptive to the staff or other attendees. A refund will not be given if this occurs.

  • Any images provided for practice purposes remain copyright of Alphamarine Photography Ltd and may not be used for any other purposes.

  • Where workshops include diving be aware that no in water instruction will be provided and it is the responsibility of the attendee to make sure they are appropriately trained, equipped and experienced for the diving.


Overseas Workshops

In the case of overseas workshops where a fee has been paid in advance to us it is the responsibility of the attendee to arrange all travel, accomodation, diving etc. Any fee paid to Alphamarine Photography Ltd is for specific underwater photography tuition as outlined in the workshop description.

Divers must stay within the rules of the dive centre, resort or boat through which their diving is arranged. We accept no liability for injury or death resulting from any activity during our workshops. Participants should have appropriate travel insurance and any issues outside of the content of our workshops is not our responsibility.

We recommend that guests book a package based trip through a registered agent for additional security over booking flights etc. directly.

In the event of the workshop being cancelled for any reason we will inform you as soon as possible and you will be entitled to choose from either:

(i) a full refund of the fees paid to us or

(ii) attend the Course on the alternative date suggested by us except in extreme cases where it is no longer possible to provide the Course.

In the event of a cancellation we do not accept responsibility for any other costs guests incur. We suggest you have appropriate insurance cover as well as booking a package through an ATOL protected travel agent.

In the event of you cancelling your space your fee is non-refundable unless we have changed the date or made significant alteration to the workshop format.

Online Courses

All bookings must be paid for in advance and are non-refundable unless otherwise stated

Online course spaces are for individuals or may be arranged for couples at the same residence.

Any images provided for practice purposes remain copyright of Alphamarine Photography Ltd and may not be used for any other purposes.

Sharing of online course streams or recordings will be considered copyright theft and we will take legal action against anyone who does this.

Affiliate Progammes

We are members of a number affiliate programmes that allow us to post links to products we don’t sell ourselves. We receive a small payment for any click throughs that result in a purchase. This helps to fund us writing blogs etc.

We will only post sales links to products we would be happy to use ourselves.

Alphamarine Photography Ltd accept no responsibility with regard to the sale of such products this is entirely the realm of the actual seller. If you have any issues you should contact the seller, not Alphamarine Photography Ltd.

Alphamarine Photography respects the privacy of every individual who visits our website. This Privacy Policy outlines the information Alphamarine Photography may collect and how we may use that information.

Personal Data

Alphamarine Photography does not collect any personally identifiable information about you (e.g., your name, address, telephone number or e-mail address) through its websites unless you have provided it to us voluntarily. If you do not want your personal data collected, please do not submit it to us, and do not opt-in to email communication. When you do provide us with personal data, we may use that information in the following ways :

  • We may save and analyze that information to better understand your needs and learn how we can improve our products and services.
