We are at the Go Diving Show again this year and will be presenting our talk 'Finding the Art in Underwater Photography' on the Photo/Inspiration Stage on Sunday from 12.30pm to 1.15pm. We'll be trying to persuade you that underwater photography is an art form and anyone who takes a camera underwater can be an artist. We'll also be giving some ideas of creative things you try with your image taking this year.
As well as our talk we are running two workshops each day, which are free to attend but limited to fifteen spaces each. The morning workshops are from 10.30am to 11.30am and are titled: Upping Your Average: How to Take Better Underwater Pictures More Often. The afternoon sessions run from 2pm to 3pm and are Underwater Flash Photography: Techniques and Troubleshooting. The morning sessions will include an opportunity to send us one of your 'average' pictures in advance so we can personalise some of the workshop and the afternoon sessions will include a chance to see a range of different underwater photography strobes and get advice about your current equipment if you already have some.
To book workshop spaces use this link: https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/.../underwater-photography...
If the session you are interested in is full drop us an email at info@alphamarinephoto.com and we'll add you to a standby list in case anyone drops out.
Between presentations and workshops we will be roaming the show and spending time with some of the companies and resorts we work with who are exhibiting. If you want to meet up with us to discuss doing a course or workshop, buying equipment or a collaboration with your company or organisation drop us an email and we can arrange a time and place.
