We are running a one week underwater photography workshop at Roots Red Sea Resort in Egypt.
Dates for that are from Saturday 30th August to Saturday 6th September 2025.
Cost is £985 per person for 7 nights in one of their Deluxe Chalets, Soft All Inclusive including transfers from either Hurghada or Marsa Alam airport and 6 days Unlimited House Reef Diving. That also includes the workshop fee but not flights. Single supplement is £210 for the week.
Roots is a really nice laid back resort with plenty of space to relax in the evenings, a swimming pool and a well stocked bar. The house reef is excellent and excursion dives aren't expensive to add if you want to get some other sites in your logbook.
The workshop will include some short talks about underwater photography technique, one to one time for us to look at your images, lots of opportunity to get advice and ask questions and we'll have a range of equipment available for guests to try out.
If you don't have your own camera yet the dive centre have several Olympus TG cameras and housings that can be rented during your stay, subject to availability.

Guests need to arrange flights and there are some local fees of about €80 to be paid locally along with tips, bar bills etc.
